They didn’t add tension

They added goofy animations that were sloppy and felt like shit to play with

His left arm didn’t even rotate with the crowbar properly so it was always just in the worst position

I wouldn't say it was a bad mechanic, having it take time to take down boards certainly increases difficulty and tension in a chase....

But I can see why they removed it, it's just more intuitive this way
