The chases are a bit dull so I have a idea to more it more climatic.

Make the screen shake when the AI sees you.

Make it really hard to lose the AI.

Make the AI barge through doors,
While in a chase the AI will open the doors normal so maybe have the AI barge through the doors.

Louder and scarier chase music,
The chase music is a bit quiet so maybe have the chase themes louder and add some scary musical elements to make it more of a chase feel.

Make the AI look more ticked off, basically have the AI in a angry face when in chase mode and hunt mode.

Expand Mr.Peterson, Baker and Mayors chase area,
Expand Mr.Peterson’s chase area to the museum porch, Expand Baker’s chase music to Bakery porch and Expand Mayors chase area to more sections of the porch.

Make the AI a little bit faster.

Let the AI cut you off without pausing.

Let the AI jump.

Let the AI climb through broken windows.

Let the AI vault things.

Let the AI climb ladders faster than the player.

Let the AI jump off ladders when player is under ladders.

This would make the AI more of a actual threat than an annoyance.

Perfectly agree! Chases are just a bore, I’d kill for them to have some sort of “terror” per se. (ie hn1 act1-2)

I really want to see this. Having someone chase you on a roof and then jumping down off it would be crazy

In the AI trailer, there was a cool scenario where mr peterson threw a box at a lever to stop quentin from getting through a door. I don't know much about the code, but I know the AI has a throwing mechanic. It could be a thrill to the chase if the AI would use it more often.
