i’m not sure as to why this is even in the game but the lack of a save point in the basement sections, and making it an all-or-nothing type of gameplay, ESPECIALLY WITH THE MULTIPLE SHADOW NEIGHBORS, the basement sections are basically impossible if you don’t know where to go or what to do. i don’t know if they’re hard by design, but an all-or-nothing based gameplay is killing the basement sections.

S1M20 is virtually impossible because of the full reset mechanic and there being multiple shadow neighbors patrolling crucially important areas at random is absolutely ridiculous. i’ve gotten past the green door, had my game softlock at the rotating silo section, and be forced to restart, OR i’ve gotten stuck risking one of two or three shadow neighbors seeing me because the window of opportunity to move is way too short. this is absolutely ridiculous and super frustrating.

Sometimes the issue is the ones who made the levels know where to go and find their own game easy. Like for example toys 4 bob found crash 4 easy and were surprised to hear others saying its very hard even tho crash 4 is actually the hardest ctr game ever.

So i think a similar thing has probably happened but its too hard for the general audience. Either atleast add a checkpoint or remove some of them. Atleast in that room with the area u use the crowbar in and get another lever should have one clonr I think cuz with 2 its impossible

the valve room was where i got stuck. the two neighbors patrolling the floor’s movement patterns collided and i couldnt move without risking getting one or the other’s attention. this game is rigged. maybe offer some glue or something in this level, it would help a LOT

the only playable section is above ground, which is in favor of leaving a lot of room for error, and is a lot more forgiving than the basement sections of the game.

they should add a checkpoint past every door in this section if they KNOW it’s hard

don’t promote a game if you know it’s broken and extremely hard at the end. at least the base game is free.
