It means they would be able to fully take advantage of the PS5 hardware and create a more stable, higher resolution and higher frame rate version of the game. Think of it like having a PS4 version of a PS3 game.

This isn’t necessary. PS5 runs full 60FPS. I’d like 120FPS but it isn’t needed 🤷‍♂️ additional graphics settings could be good though

It was 30 last time I played, which was sometime last year. I'll have to revisit to see if it hits 60 now. FR is one, but there are many reasons why a PS5 version is best. I disagree that it isn't necessary.

Just because the game gets 30fps doesn’t mean it needs a PS5 version. Many forget that PS4 games are still running on PS5 hardware, so it takes advantage of better specs. It gets full 60fps, at least now, and if it doesn’t, the game is just flat out unoptimised. Don’t get me wrong, I’d like a PS5 version for 120fps, but it really isn’t necessary 🤷‍♂️

A PS5 version is absolutely needed, and 30 FPS is awful. Not every PS4 game is optimized to take advantage of PS5, which is why many games introduce a bespoke PS5 version. PS5 versions of existing PS4 titles offer much more than just a frame rate upgrade. There are many PS5 exclusive techs that cannot be implemented into a PS4 version. You don't think a PS5 version is necessary and that's okay, but that is your opinion. I don't see what you hope to accomplish here by unsuccessfully trying to convince other people that a PS5 version isn't necessary.

I genuinely don’t get why it is needed. It doesn’t run at 30fps, and that’s not just me, other people have said it runs at 60fps 🤷‍♂️

is there a specific reason you think a ps5 version is a good idea? Am I missing something?

Also I’m aware that PS5 technology can’t be implemented into PS4 games, but I’m talking about frame rate. PS4 games use PS5 hardware when played on PS5, which should therefore boost frame rate.
