Server Issues

With this update, the game has been running worse than ever. Load times are taking longer when booting into QG and even booting up the game. It's not a software problem as the LE, any solo CG, and the Tutorial run perfectly fine as well as other higher end games I've been playing. It seems there's either a problem with the servers or optimization is really needing to be worked on in this game.

I have attached a video of a unedited bit of gameplay during the start of a match, my game lags whenever a match is starting, the neighbor transforms by me, and just whenever it feels like it.

I used to be able to run this game on Ultra, but since this update, it's taken a nose dive when playing the actual game.

Quoting my previous bug report that needed my specs (i haven't changed them)

I use a windows 10 pro with 16 GB of ram, along with a radeon 570 graphics driver, up to date.

Hi again! Upon further investigation, it appears that the latest update has somewhat increased the GPU requirements for High and Ultra graphics settings due to higher-quality textures.

Can you try lowering the graphics quality settings one by one to see if you can identify a spot where the game performs optimally?

If spikes still occur even on lower quality, kindly let us know.

In the meantime, please rest assured that the developers are investigating this issue as we always work to improve the game.

If i recall correctly, the spikes in QG still occur on Medium. I have yet to try with Low and Very Low.

Interesting. Please let us know when you try even lower settings. Also, what is your resolution, and do you have "Core Isolation" enabled? You can find the latter under Windows Security > Device security > Core isolation details.

Resolution is 1920 x 1080
core isolation is off at the moment.

I'll try a match in low and very low

Low seems to make the spikes less often.

it's one heck of a change though, having to go from ultra to low

Would you maybe know the exact model of your drive? Is it an SSD or HDD?
