I've just now noticed that HN2's new area starts lagging quite a bit after reloading a save.

Hey! A video of this would be really helpful, even more so with an FPS counter (you can activate it on Steam under Settings > In Game > In-game FPS counter) and some additional information, such as your preferred graphics settings and PC specifications.
