The new animations seem to break the achievements.

Ah, my apologies. So, i was playing HN2 on my older/alt account that didnt have any hn2 achievements as i was logged into it at the time. I went to pet Imbir and Skipper to see the new pet animations, the animations played but the achievements dedicated to petting them didnt unlock.

I even did it twice on Imbir for good measure, no luck.

i can confirm. i bought the game after the new patch released and even though i've pet the cat and dog several times i haven't gotten the achievements.
