Since quentins powers are sorta a mixture of leaders and detective, they seem unbalanced, very disposable, and out of character. Here is my idea for his concept power move
Suspection: Whenever a kid gets captured and has their little tombstone (whatever you like to call it) Quentin can go near it, and when he gets near it, a message will pop up saying the person who is the neighbor.
This should replace the speeding mechanic that he has
And now we have to update the surveillance move to make it a little more consistent to Quentin and here's how I make with my own idea
Surveillance: When Quentin gets near the basement door, he writes down "how many locks are there" and "what kind of color are there for the locks" everytime a person unlocks one of the locks in the basement door, Quentin needs to update his surveillance power, to catch up on how many are there now, and what color are there.

i think the ability to see who is the neighbor would ruin the whole point of not wanting to reveal your identitiy

The revealing of your identity would only occur to that one Quentin player who investigated the body, this won't affect other players at all

But he will just tell everyone who Neighbor is and everyone would Trust him because of the ability

Not really, because there would be some that wouldn't even talk. And the plus side, most players in the game commonly don't trust each player, and would just attack the one that screams "neighbor" to someone.

also, people would suspect the player that was shown to quentin more even if hes trying to trick them

cameras? basic? im sure it wouldn't be a big issue. The surveillance ability is incredibly basic, and replacing the ability with cameras just makes the ability a bit more interesting. The cameras could still have the same function as the original ability if you set up a camera near the basement door, but you can still use the camera for other purposes.

If Quentin Places camera in right Place he can see Who is the neighbor like u guys want and it gives neighbor a chance to Manipulate someone he want to kill to Leave place with camera

  • I think Quentin would have multiple cameras maybe 2 and he will have perk that would give him at level 1 one more camera and level 2 two more that he will have 4 with golden perk like in hn2 just delete Hot news and This Key Ability and give him ability to Place cameras and second Ability to get his monitor from hn2 and just see

the monitor shouldn't be an inventory item though since you already have to carry a crowbar with you almost everywhere you go.

But I don't think that more cameras perk would be generous like we have more ammo perk to scout but like you said monitor Shouldn't be inventory item for Sure

i really hope they add them, cameras were my favorite part of hello neighbor 2

ill probably make my own post on ability reworks for Quentin. I have a lot of ideas to improve his seemingly rushed ability set.
