The one-way windows from the Beta are a severely underrated feature and the fact that they're not in the full game really sucks some of the fun out of sneaking around the locations. Like in the Beta Museum, the fact that you could only open them from the inside meant that you couldn't just enter and exit the same way and you had to put more effort into sneaking around the neighbor instead of just going in and out the windows again to avoid him.
As for the Heavy Doors, using them in certain situations could drastically improve the gameplay in some sections of the game. Ted's basement is a good example, as the task of sneaking through the door could effectively create mini-boss encounter with Keith similar to what was in the Beta.
