Personally, I think that the house level design in HN2 could overall use some tweaks and touchups. As the AI evolves, gets more features, and gets smarter, I feel as if the houses need to evolve with them as well. The layouts need to be a bit more twisty and designed in such a way where it's both easy enough to navigate and facilitates interesting chases and varied AI interactions, through both tasks, traps, and the like As well as that, houses should offer more stealth, distraction, and potential sandbox opportunities for the player to interact with. Don't make something that's on the same level of complexity as the Act 3 house - make something that both feels realistic, but has interesting level design.
TL;DR - current houses feel way too focused on realism rather than interesting and engaging level design and interactivity, needs more of a balance.
