they would have probably changed to hn2, vr, diaries and he assets in the graphics overhaul since all of these look similar and dont clash together as much as the hn1 artstyle

and hn1 artstyle basically hasnt been used as much recently but rather either hn2 artstyle, or just updated hn1 models that look similar to hn2

i dont think that this has a deeper meaning, its just an artstyle change to match with their other games.

sn is already an existing game, so it would be easier creating a whole new game where you dont have to make assets that look like the things in game
