In the patch notes for the summer camp update it said that scout was supposed to be able to break beartraps with her slingshot, however in game that does not seem to be the case as most of the time I'll shoot the beartrap and nothing happens it just doesn't break, I can only remember one round that I played since the update released where I was able to break Beartraps with the slingshot, but the rest were bugged. I play the game on Steam but I've heard the same reports from the other platforms. (Someone in the comments pointed out that its bugged for anyone who is not the server host, so if you are the first one in the match you will be able to break the traps with the slingshot but if you aren't the host then its bugged for you)

Yeah she sometimes can break them and sometimes can't like on neighbor case theirs a 80% chance u can but on missing or wanted theirs a 90% chance u can't weird bug

Ikr! I have had problems with the slingshot not disarming traps. The bug is on iOS too. So basically it is on every platform.

Yes, this is an issue. There is only one fix for it: you must be the host of the match you are in for it to work. You must have the crown over your character in the custom game lobby when the match starts for it to work there. You must be the person at the top of the roster in the quick game loading screen for it to work there.
