It would make sense for the museum to be haunted, and due to deterioration of the museum it would definitely add some horror aspcts to the game. Like maybe sometimes there'd be eerie whispers or even furniture moving by their own. Maybe if the Neighbor notices paranormal stuff happening maybe he'll play his scared animation or something. Heck even maybe shadows would appear at the windows night.
(I forgot to add, maybe also at night there would be flickering eerie lights coming from the museum at night.)
