Something from Hello Guest was a Panic Meter that would get lower after things that happen throughout the game, making the Player more and more anxious, here’s how to bring it back:

  1. The Meter, would get lower when getting Spotted, Caught, Fall Damage and will get lower overtime and will get lower faster when in a chase, everything will lower the meter by a certain amount, for Ex: Fall Damage won’t take as much as getting caught, and getting Spotted won’t take as much as fall damage.

  2. The effect, will be Quentin getting more anxious and sleep deprived, if it gets too low Quentin will start to hallucinate and see shapes and figures like The Thing, symbolic of him getting anxious and scared, his heart will also race and he will hyperventilate, lower it get the worse, he will also become slower and will be easier to here and spot, even sounds and music will become distorted, if it gets all the way to 0 Quentin will be at his lowest, in order to get all the way back up, you need to go to the banner and somewhere there will be a coffee Machine with a cup of coffee under it, you will need to turn on the coffee machine and it will pour Coffee into the cup which if interacted with will play an animation of Quentin drinking it, afterwards Quentin will be all the way back up his meter and fine.

Also every new day the meter goes all the way back up, and to give an idea of how far it depletes, if you were to follow the overtime thing and just be afk, it would take around 20-25 minutes for it to go down to 0.

If you want something more hardcore, if there’s a Hard Mode, it would be a smaller bar and would be depleting faster, if it hits 0 you have to restart that entire part of the game.

So Quentin would just have a caffeine addiction to make him forget all his problems. Nice! Okay in all seriousness though, there should be a way for the player to know how to make the meter go down, maybe in the tutorial something Idk.
