After solving the puzzle in the bakery, and possibly a bit before, Imbir should roam the streets of Raven Brooks. Hopping into bushes, playing with leaves, laying in windows. etc.

Now if you're worried about the fountain puzzle, I have a solution. If you try to go over to the fountain and use the camera, Imbir will jump out of a bush with leaves in it and cover the gnome camera until you feed them.

You can try to pet them as they go around of course, they will only allow it if you've fed them treats at the fountain and bakery as by that point they will fully trust you.

I think Imbir roaming could help bring the town to life, even by a little bit as you don't feel as alone. There's someone else going around the town that DOESN'T want to hit you with a shovel or grab you. It's nice.

wait, you want Imbir to be set to free roam, which is actually quite a bit of a work in ue, but you didn't want them to release alpha 2, which is a finished project, due to "the need to focus on patch 10"? where did the alpha 2 post even go? it was fairly written.

you have to decide what you want. do you want the devs to 100% focus on the game? then you shouldn't ask this and that. or if you want this and that implemented, then don't say to others that "oh they have to focus on the game, don't ask this" because it just feels unfair. either everyone should EQUALLY be able to ask anything they want, from cat to alpha 2, or just let it go.

Imbir walking around the map might not work, but the same can probably be said for alpha 2
