The new teaser for the guest you guys posted yesterday was cool, and I do think it will hook and tie in a bunch of people who were dying to see him in HN2 fulltime. When you guys do add him, at the end when he uses his beak on you, he should use his light jumpscare at the end similar to the barn scene from the Beta. Maybe he'd use his light to jumpscare you at night but in the daytime he'd just do the jumpscare without the lights.

the reason why the lights worked in the beta intro is because it was a cutscene
it being part of a regular jumpscare might just make it look bad

I think the reason for this light to be implemented in the beta is because the car from mr.Peterson was blinding Quentin, so it wouldn't make much sense imo. But great suggestion still!
