#Poor Performance After the Patches Updates

I'm happy we got the switch updates after so many months, however the game's performance is sorta on the slow side I get that the switch doesn't run ported games that well but please find a way to make the performance slightly better if you can. Again, I understand switch updates took a while to come out but it'd be nice to have it a bit more faster but not too fast. Usually it lags when you pick up an item or interact with a puzzle.

true however the more you get deeper into the switch version it lowers the fps HN1 ran fine but I guess it's because of the amount of detail they put into HN2 compared to the first game

At least we still get the patches tho i am getting worried if the6 keep updateing the switch version (which is good) it might have huge lag so let’s hope that doesn’t happen

Hey, thank you for letting us know of this! Do you have the game installed on the System memory or a microSD, and what is your Switch setup (e.g., is it connected to a TV)? Also, have you tried reinstalling the game and restarting your Switch (hold the Power button > Power options > Restart)?

  1. I have it installed on my microSD card.

  2. Yup, usually when I play the game I play it on my TV.

  3. I never thought of reinstalling the game maybe I'll try that and restart it if I do play it again.

So, I tried it and it worked however I found the problem. It's the auto saving feature whenever you pick up something or do a puzzle the gameplay gets choppy and starts lagging. Manual saving would be a great option, and of course we can have the option to enable it or disable it.
