The icon show up only at the player who done it and the player who got it, he follow the player who done it 3/4 seconds, then stuck in place where it was when the 3/4 seconds has finish.

It kind of takes away the point of the emote
If everyone sees you saying "quiet, follow me"

yeah only the help emote needs it
the key found icon is dumb because the neighbor might come knowing you have a key

it also tells the neighbor though and most people dont pay attention to the icons except for the neighbor and help one
