As the title suggests, I would like to be able to change how quickly the neighbor is able to kill. At the moment, the time to kill is so short that it is basically impossible to be rescued if you get caught (unless you play as Brave). As a matter of fact, this is such a big problem that my friends and I completely dropped the game because of it. I think having 'time to kill' as a lobby setting would add a simple yet effective way to balance the game for everyone and it would definetly motivate me to play again, and while I'm no developer, it really doesn't feel like a difficult feature to add.
#An Option to Adjust the Time to Kill

The time to kill is not short. In fact, it's a nuisance for the neighbor, because he's extremely vulnerable during that time. The catch animation is 7 seconds long, while that might sound short to you, it's really not. That's plenty of time to perform a rescue as a kid. And no offense, but if a feature like this is gonna cause you to drop the game, you were probably better off not touching the game in the first place because that is really not a big deal.
I remember it being longer a few years ago and I think it was much better balanced back then.. maybe just a skil issue on my side? Regardless, I stand by my opinion.
I can kinda see your point but
it is actually so easy to be saved from the neighbor
especially when kids stick in groups
Yeah I guess that's the thing for me and my friends. We usually agree to split up because we think it's more interesting that way and in that case if you spot the neighbor and scream for help, there usually isn't enough time to recieve help before you die. Just having 4 extra seconds or something could do really well to fix that. But then, when kids go in groups, longer kill time is maybe excessive.
Yeah, it is so much more interesting to split up, but what would be the point of splitting up if you expect someone to save you every time you get caught
Its kind of the nature of the game
