#Make Hello Neighbor 2 tie in with Hello Neighbor VR (Search and Rescue)

Hello neighbor 2 currently doesnt really tie in well with any other hello neighbor game especially the most recent one (Search and Rescue). While Aarons fate in Search and Rescue is left unknown its clear he cant be with his dad anymore. I feel like it is absolutely important have the games to tie into eachother so I decided to make this suggestion to make Hello Neighbor 2 make sense (Yes I am aware this isnt the first post about this issue but the other ones didnt go into full detail on what needs be changed)
1. The intro
Because of the events in SAR Aaron cant be in hn2. It would make more sense to have Nicky escape instead (and have him succeed). After Quentin sees this happen the rest of the intro can play out the same. This would also have the benefit of explaining why the cops are at the neighbors house the very next day.

The alternative could be bringing back a modified beta intro where Mr Peterson is already on the run and the cops are already at his house.
2. Nightmare 2
Nightmare 2 as it is currently ingame is fine and it would actually make it more impactful since it would be the player`s first time seeing Aaron in the game.
**3. The ending **
In the beta Aaron wasnt actually in the attic it was a trap. In the full game there are still remnants of this with the Aaron cutout still being there for some reason. I think you should bring the attic being a trap back and have Aaron not be there. And I imagine a modified ending without Aaron would go like this:
Quentin gets to the attic and enters the cage then realises Aaron isnt there and it was a trap. Then Mr peterson sneaks up on him and locks him in the cage. The rest of the boss fight plays out the same until the last cutscene. While Quentin is escaping he is caught off guard when the bird statue drops on Mr Peterson. Then Quentin gets knocked out.

4. Aaron
Aaron could maybe still be in the game because Search and Rescue leaves his fate unknown but one thing is clear he cannot be with his father at all. I cant go much further on explaining why because then I would be going into spoiler territory.
**5. Nickys house** Currently Hn2 uses a generic model for Nickys house. I feel like it would be a good idea to use the SAR model of his house though the hole in the roof should be removed so Quentin cant enter Nickys room but other than it shouldnt take too much effort to add since it perfectly fits in with the hn2 style and wouldnt take too much effort to add.
6. Basement
In all of the other depictions of the basement its huge but in hn2 its an average boring basement which is dissapointing. Im not saying you should have the full basement be explorable in hn2 just make it so that theres clearly a hidden entrance to the rest of basement that Quentin doesnt notice. Hn1 had the washing machine while hnvr has a fake brick wall that opens. You can add either one of those to keep the basement consistent

I find it a bit funny how many suggestions there are about this issue (tho to be fair hn2 cant be canon to the rest of the games if this issue with the story is not fixed)

it was all simple until the CEO decided to bassically reboot everything and make it worse

and its clear most of the community hates it and just wants the books to be back

I really dont get why they went out of their way to scrap already established lore

so did hello engineer (theres a lot of evidence of it still following the original lore)

my advice is just to ignore the animated series almost nobody cares about it
