This feedback thread is going to be about general improvements to the visuals of the game, but I will link a few of my previous feedback threads, as they also fit into this category:

With that out of the way, here are some ways I think the game's visuals could be improved!
1. Outside Lighting - I am personally not a fan of the outside lighting in the full game. The game takes place in fall, yet there's still daylight at 7:30 PM (19:30 military time), and the morning lighting when Quentin wakes up at 8:00 AM feels a bit dark. In the fall, it is usually very bright by 8 AM, and all daylight is usually gone by around 6PM-6:30PM (18:00-18:30 military time). I think the beta did a much better job at making the lighting feel closer to the season the game takes place in.
Another issue I have with the outside lighting is the actual brightness itself. In the beta, during the daytime, it was very bright, and there was an effect for the sun glowing whenever the player looked up at it. The nighttime in the beta was also pretty dark, with the only sources of light being signs, lights inside the houses, and lamp posts. Fast forward to the full game, and the lighting is, in my opinion, much worse. There is no sun glow effect and the nighttime is incredibly bright. If you're concerned about the nighttime being so dark the player can't find their way around, I have a solution: enable the lamp posts when all sunlight is gone from the sky.
2. The Clouds - In the full game, the clouds in my opinion look very pixelated and don't resemble clouds very much. In the beta, the clouds looked like giant cotton balls, which is exactly the kind of aesthetic this game has. I believe the clouds from the beta should be added in a future update (not patch 9, I know you folks at EGS are well into making that).
Image comparisons will be posted momentarily.
