As of now, all the save files for all the versions of HN2 are contained in the same folder, which has some negative effects on loading up the early versions. If the player hasn't reset their progress in the full game, then it is impossible to load up the world when hitting the continue button in the beta (I'm not sure if it happens with the new game button in beta). Instead, it just infinitely loads using the load screen from the full game (in the beta, the load screen was a still image of Quentin's van, but in the full game the wheels are animated). I believe that having the saves for the different versions of the game stored in their own folders rather than a collective one would make it far easier to revisit earlier versions of the game.

whenever resetting progress in the beta or fg, it causes the player to have to readjust their gamma in the alphas
fortunately there are multiple save files in the alphas
its just gamma?
so resetting progress doesn't have an effect
unless you're an idiot like me and delete all the .sav files in the save folder..
then it deletes all saves across all versions of HN2 (I'm unsure about HG, I haven't played that in forever)
this is bizzare
really bizzare
hn2 alpha 1 and fg are like
not even remotely similar
I have no idea why it was made that way
i mean alphas dont have to be limited to the fg
