I love the lighting redesign of the Peterson house and the barn but what disappointed me is that every other location's lighting stayed the same. I think the game could look way better than what it looks like now if the lighting was redone for the other residences. For example, I think the lighting of The Museum looks too generic and the Mayor's House is way too bright and should have a few areas where it's still bright but not as overly vivid.
#Update the lighting of every other location, not just 2 of them

Yes I feel a lot of the locations have a warm comfy lighting. They should be more cold and gloomy and dark looking. The bakery is the only location that the warm comfortable lighting I think fits.
