#Cutscene and Scripted Moment ideas

Here’s some ideas for cutscenes and scripted moments, I made a somewhat similar post, but this is more detailed.

Cutscenes:

  1. When going to the basement and entering, instead add of the door closing behind you, there should be a cutscene of Quentin entering inside, but right before taking a step Officer Nielson would grab him, then similar to Bear Traps, you would have to click a certain Bind to push him away, once you do then the door shuts.

  2. When walking up to the Museum on Day 1, once you pass the border walls, it should play the Beta cutscene of Quentin noticing him at one of the Windows.

  3. A cutscene when you walk in the radio area of the Banner, similar to the Beta.

  4. A cutscene that plays when walking up to all the different homes.

Scripted Moments:

  1. During the Barn Tutorial, Mr. Peterson should drive his car up to the side of the barn, then get out with his shovel and hide in a bush.

  2. Once you finish the barn and start Day 1, when you leave the Banner, Leslie should drive down the road and drive off somewhere.

  3. Once you get out the basement, you should be able to see Nielson leaving in his cop car.

  4. Once Day 2 starts, you should be able to see Nielson walk don the Bakery steps and walk back to his cop car.

  5. During Day 1, you should be able to see Mr. Peterson taking boxes out of his car and into the Musuem, but not be able to go near there.

  6. During Day 1-Night 2, Otto should be seen out in the forest hunting.

  7. During Day 1-Night 3, The Mayor should be out far in the lake, on a boat.

I feel like this is a bit redundant and pointless
During the Barn Tutorial, Mr. Peterson should drive his car up to the side of the barn, then get out with his shovel and hide in a bush.
I think he could just run to the barn cause he has plenty of time to do so. Getting in his car would be a waste of time
Once you get out the basement, you should be able to see Nielson leaving in his cop car.
ingame its implied Quentin has been in the basement for a while seeing how its night time when you leave so its implied that nielson left while Quentin was in it.

overall this is a very good suggestion and might help players understand what is going on better

they really need to make the time of day change when you unlock the door

I think what they should do is combine the Nielson quick-time event idea with the time passing thing, so that when Quentin fights him off the door closes AND he falls backwards, knocking himself out. That way, the scene can play out with Quentin waking up and proceeding as normal while allowing us to believe the other stuff happened when we were out.
