#Let Quentin make noise again

In Hello Guest you could hear Quentin make all kinds of snivelly noises and sounds, especially at the start of the game like when he's struggling to move his bike or when he's creeped out by the statues. Then from the Alphas onward he became less vocal and in the final game he's just completely mute.

Honestly this is just a disservice to Quentin as a character, as it basically removes all the "Nerdy, lazy, clumsy, feeble but well-meaning" personality he had before and just makes him into an emotionless husk that you pilot instead of a fleshed-out character in the fictional world. And honestly I think the fact that the new updates gave even more lines to every character EXCEPT Quentin just makes it stand out even more.

In other words, I think you should give Quentin more personality by adding more voicelines to the cutscenes and/or gameplay, be it reused lines from HG or brand new ones entirely.

To add on to this, let me give examples of what changes could be made to the cutscenes/gameplay with voicelines for Quentin:

  1. Panicked breathing when Ted approaches his van with the shovel.
  2. A frightened yelp when he's ambushed by the Guest and Ted in the following scenes.
  3. Audible sounds of pain whenever Quentin crashes into the ground or is shot by Otto.
  4. Struggling noises whenever Quentin is caught by an NPC.
  5. Excited Quentin noises whenever he finds a Sumeum key (Bonus points for showing him comically injure himself with the keys in some way).
  6. A little "Hey" or similar gesture to get Aaron out of hiding when rescuing him, instead of just wordlessly tossing him a paper airplane.
  7. A brief moment of panic in the ending when he realizes he's about to be knocked out.

I suggested something like this a while ago and I agree.
