#Neighbor Needs More Ways to Split up Kids

Kids can stick together the entire round sometimes making it unreasonably hard for neighbors to win or even catch just one kid. The neighbor needs to have more tools at his disposal to separate groups of kids.

I had an idea for another button next to the radar in the neighbor room and next to other radars in the map which only the neighbor can use that when activated reverses the state of all neighbor gates in the house... this way you could use the radar to see where kids are and close gates on them from in the neighbor room and separate people then go and hunt them (you should also be able to see the outline of gates with the radar like in older versions). Or maybe there could be a way to choose which gates you want to shut opposed to activating all of them

The neighbor should not breath heavily when running unless he is really low on stamina and the sound of him using bookshelf doors should be quieter so that it is easier to surprise split off kids. It would also be a good idea to add more gates on maps 2 - 5 as there aren't many gates like in map 1, and some vents should be removed (or maybe randomly bricked off) as some of them allow kids to easily bypass neighbor gates.

Another good thing to do would be to make emotes have a view distance limit. What I mean is make emote icons only appear to other players who are close by, this way the kids can't give away the neighbor's location to players that are on the other side off the map, allowing the neighbor to get the kid without the other kids rushing to his location when they aren't near him. (this should not effect the icon that appears when a kid is downed or trapped; only effect Help, You're The Neighbor, and other contextual emote icons)

There should be even more ways to get the kids split up as well, but that is a few ways that I thought would be cool

Maybe the fuse box's function could return to help split up players? Here's my idea:

The neighbor can flip the fuse box off 4 times per game, the cooldown increasing with each time the lever is pulled. This cooldown increases in increments of 30s each time it is pulled, (1:30 --> 2:00, etc.) and cannot be pulled until 1:30 into the game. When the lever is pulled, the power to the house shuts off and the kids are left shrouded in darkness, more so than they would be if all the lights in the room were turned off by hand. This triggers a The power is out! pop up and places a marker on the fuse box. In order to bring power back to the house, 2 players must interact with the fuse box by holding E. Unless 1-2 kid(s) are left in the game, in which it cannot be powered off at all. (Flashlights and lamps still work during this off period, but will occasionally flicker)

Only problem with the ideas is that the whole reason they removed it is because it buffs ghost a lot

I think what if instead of fully turning off the electrical circuit you pull it halfway down to "rigg" it

I think adding back the power fuse back is it allows neighbors to slow down the kids mission

Oh I just realized you can frame other kids with this feature... if you close gates from in the neighbor room but you close a gate that a bunch of kids are around they will think that one of the kids in the group is the one who shut the gate

How I get my traps to work is to stack 3 boxes then a chair on top. Place this trap outside a door then place the glue onto the chair, the glue will go through the chair buy that's how you want it. Now if a player wants to get pass they grab the boxes causing the glue to smash everywhere and making a noise to alert you.

Now that the summer update is here it might be a good idea to remove some of the vents

Some of them just bypass the neighbor gates

In map 1 for example, there's one in the big dinning room/kitchen that has a gate and a vent to the other level 2 area. It makes the gate pointless if kids can just walk a few feet away and get in the room anyway

And also the one in the foyer, the one that connects to the library completely undermines the gate that is there

maybe add these holes to all of the gates so you can grab people through gates if they're too close? this would prevent people from waiting infront of the gates too
