#Give the rooms in The Hideout more of a purpose

For example, there is a kitchen but Mr. Peterson can't do any kitchen activities that were seen in the alphas in it because the room is upside down. The living room (where you get the key for the bedroom) lacks any sort of features like a TV and sofa like you would expect from a living room. Mr. Peterson used to have a bunch of tasks for the garage as well, like using a wrench to work on his car, and welding, but they're nowhere to be found.

Maybe the kitchen could be at a normal rotation with a fridge and a stove, so Mr. Peterson could get food from the fridge, or make coffee on the stove as seen in Alpha 1.5. The stove would also work as a distraction with the kettle for Quentin. The fridge is already in the game and the stove is a functioning item in the files, so it wouldn't take much effort.

For the living room you could just add a couch and a table where the TV sits on, it could be used to play The Sounds Of Nature and Mr. Peterson would go there to watch TV.

For the garage add the power box thingy and welding tools back so Peterson can weld to his heart's content, and allow him to pick up his wrench and open the car's engine so he can work on it.

it makes it so he only sits on his chair the first time in the mansion

on the 3rd night he either just sleeps or goes to sit in the chair

unreal ore
#

the mansion needs to be reworked

unreal ore
#

honestly I just wish they reworked how the game works

all the houses excluding the museum follow the same formula

#

complete like 5 puzzles to do one big one

#

or unlock something

#

like getting keys, numbers for code, throphies for the wheel

dark kite
#

Yeah just solve mindless puzzles until you build a thing (A cash register, map, or trophy collection)

#

I think the game itself is fun just the trivial puzzles bring it down

unreal ore
#

also I wish they make it so the game doesnt have to be so linear

#

in the beta it was so cool

dark kite
#

I hope they'll go for a more AI based puzzle design for chapter 2

unreal ore
#

and the beta tried to give reasons why quentin breaks into their houses

#

in fg its just the monitors told me!!!

I think that there clearly was supposed to be a gameplay segment in between the day and night transition in the intro

# unreal ore when are chapters mentioned?

Only once but when Patch 2 for consoles came out if you tried to continue with an existing save file it'll say something like "Chapter 1 has had updates since you last played, you will need to create a new save file if you want the new features"

#

I hope chapter 2 will focus more on things like the park and Mayak and the AI based puzzles from the demo / prototype

unreal ore
#

wait im pretty sure ted had a map of the park that is litterally just from hga

unreal ore
#

I dont think so

Oh yeah on the right a circle with a bunch of circles around it

#

The first thing that caught my eye

#

Yknow five balls coming off of it

unreal ore
#

the circles are where the tunnels lead I think

dark kite
#

I'm assuming the enemies in the catacombs will either be just the guest or maybe multiple cultists

unreal ore
dark kite
#

But for a map that big there'd either have to be one extremely op enemy or multiple normal powered enemies

unreal ore
#

what if it brings back his stalking AI?

dark kite
unreal ore
#

that could work I guess?

#

I just wish he isnt used for only the sewers

dark kite
#

A normal protective AI wouldn't really make sense for a demon

#

When they add the park or Mayak he'll probably be chillin there too
