I was looking on the PS5 store for a game to buy and I saw hello neighbor it was 35 pound I looked on the trailers on YouTube and it promised a neurological AI that learns and adapts from you and other players so I look at the description on the PS5 store and it says it has advanced AI that learns from you and other players other time so I buy it and it the AI sucks and is not what they advertised on the ps store and on YouTube I feel scammed.

First off days before launch they said the Neural Network wouldn’t be there, also the game is getting Patch updates, currently Consoles are on Patch 2, while PC is on Patch 7, and the AI is way smarter and can outsmart you on there so be patient till that comes to Consoles, also you should do your research before buying a game.
Also the AI does not suck it’s able to chase you and can cut you off
Yes but I did in fact research to find those videos on YouTube and the description now while I couldn't find where they said about the neurological AI removal I can appreciate that the game is being updated but I still feel about uneasy about this type of marketing scheme
I agree it is very bad, I recommend watching Devlog 3 to give you an idea of what’s coming.
Ok
Do you know how scummy they were to remove all mention of the network two days before launch?!
not another one of these
They literally said that it wouldn’t come
Ik
It would've been "scummy" if they hadn't told us.
Exactly Adam himself said that the Neural Network was a lost cause
It's also really hard to believe there's an AI capable of learning from everyone who plays the game.
Exactly also it was possible, as Alexus managed to create something like that but then he left so they never could use it, but many devs from my understanding did test it and it worked really well.
Interesting.
I didn't think it was actually possible.
I do think it would've made the game unnecessarily hard, though.
IMO it would’ve been a bad idea choosing a most likely move wouldn’t work as it would most likely run the opposite way or smth
True.
the ai sucks chasing
Yes, if you're playing with low FPS.
i wasn't
Well, for me the AI works very well.
I can barely outrun anyone.
For me it’s amazing
He's either playing with under, around 60 FPS, or he's on an older build of the game.
i play with max fps
and im on patch 2
That's why the AI is so bad.
Well, I guess your game is broken.
il check it if im under fps
neilson ai sucks
mr. peterson makes me have a heart attack
When I play the AI can chase me anywhere
huh
Not literally
wait what-
when did he say this
I want a source for this
i guees neilson just lazy
give me a link
oh
Seriously, what's your source?????
@sage peak whats the source?
I don’t got the link, but when Adam was asked about it he was very off and on about it, he didn’t give a clear answer but it sounded like it wasn’t worth adding to him.
Why would it be in announcements?
I don't remember if Adam even had access to that channel.
All videos I made were given to me with specific guidelines, instructions, assets, and clips by producers and developers. Anything involving the development of the game is handled by the development team and producers.
This proves that they forced you to your work doings...
To be fair the devlogs had soul n' stuff
Adam does good VA work
feels less scripted.
Well all videos are a team effort and go through several revisions and are checked over. A game can change at any point in time throughout development. What happens next to the game is a mystery.
So we’ll see what happens.
I doubt anything mysterious might occur despite its improvements
They’re still updating the game through everyone’s feedback. So if things are missing, keep poking and tell the developers what needs to be added.
Got it
my face when someone says it wasn't scummy for tB to remove neural network from the games description days before the game released:
Doesn't change the fact that it would've been even scummier if they hadn't told us.
but here's the thing: they didn't tell us
Oh, well.
At least they didn't keep it in the description.
They did, until they changed it
Ahh I see
