No the Museum wasn’t a thing back then, the Gray Manor was a placeholder till they could get a good idea, they could’ve slides with the Gray Manor as it did have an interior design.

No just recolour the house and the textures and your done

They have to make it from scratch becuase the original house was only a few rooms that were used for the teasers and ai showcase

And after they did that they have to make the ai and puzzels for the house along with remake every single texture and createing setting up furniture inside the house which by itself can take about a month

The Gray Manor is literally just the museum but it's a different colour, and slight layout changes. I would love for the museum to look more like Gray Manor since I love how it looked, but making it another structure would be a bit goofy

But if you wanna play in grey manor you can wait for the many alpha 2 fangames

Gray manor and the Museum were 2 completely different buildings which had 2 different interiors, However they scrapped the gray manor because they liked the Museum better
