Tinybuild I'm on ps4 but I'm not getting free roam with the new patch. I beat the game but it doesn't say anything about free roam in the text then when I press continue it sends me to the menu. Is this on purpose? Because it still works on other consoles. Don't you need free roam for the mr Otto and Mr Peterson to set up traps? The bear trap feature is on the patch notes so why isn't there? Just please please PLEASE add free roam or just give an explanation on why it isn't there PLEASE.

I don't have it either (Freeplay). The bear traps isn't just a free roam thing. The taxidermist does it in the story too. Mr Peterson doesn't do it in Freeplay at all however. He only does it in the boss fight at the end of the story. Honestly, I couldn't even reset the game on ps4, I had to use a different user to play from the beginning. I'm not gonna beat it at all until they fix it so I can actually play and mess around with paint and stuff.

THANK GOD omg I'm not alone, I really hope they fix this, I think it's only on ps4 because NO ONE else have been talking about it. I really hope tinybuild notices this. Also thanks for telling me about Mr Otto's bear traps.

No problem. Also, it's not just the reset progress and continue that's messed up. You can't change your settings either. You probably noticed though. I can't change my camera sensitivity which is annoying cause of how slow it is.

YES free roam is only missing on ps4. It's obviously intentional. Since at the end of the game it specifically removes the text saying you can go free roam. I personally think they forgot to add it on the first update, but then when this update came they forgot to add it too. Also@strong lichen thanks I will definitely do that.

@timid grail yeah, but we still want day and night cycle and Mr Peterson bear traps. Also we never experienced it before. We just want to get the full game and not get mistreated as console players usually are. But you still have a point.
