So if Diaries ever comes to pc, i have some ideas to counteract the store and stress system, since having to pay for things constantly in a SINGLEPLAYER game is a bit annoying if you already have to pay for the game itself (This is assuming the PC version is paid for.)

Change Stress.
In mobile diaries to encourage players to not constantly play (or spend money) every time you get caught or otherwise lose, Stress will accumulate, I presume too much stress will stop the player from playing anymore until Nicky relaxes. On PC and Consoles, it'd be a bit annoying to deal with that so perhaps make it so if Nicky gets too stressed you'll abort the current mission and have to reload a save, effectively giving players lives. -
Keep the crafting system but remove microtransactions.
I like the idea of having items to help aid players who need it, however on PC and Console, it should be that the player can gather more gears (or perhaps find a package of gears that has multiple in them) in the field rather than having to give $20 to get like 30 of each item. -
Do NOT make the later seasons or chapters DLC.
This is a cheap and not cool thing to do, it's better to fully charge $20 for a game rather than have it cheaper and pay like $5 per chapter. -
Backpacks
I noticed for a dollar you can give yourself another inventory slot which is just pay to win, although a extra item slot or two could come in handy, so I propose Backpacks or perhaps a suitcase. Throughout multiple levels or maybe in the tinker den (not calling it a shop) you can get hidden backpacks to extend your inventory perhaps up to 8 slots, then the backpacks you find can just give you tickets or gears.
