Here are 3 suggestion to make the closets a fun and more immersive experience in the game:
1.Add more hiding spots (ex. curtains, boxes)
2.Improve the AI so that it suspects the player hiding in a closet
3.Rework on the hiding spots: Whenever a player is hiding in a closet, he would have no visibility on what is happening outside. But, he would have the ability to peek and see if the coast is clear. By doing this though, the player risks getting noticed by the AI and forcing the AI to search the closet where the player is hiding. That applies to all hiding spots. For example, when hiding behind a curtain, the player could peek through the curtain's cut.

first 2 i agree with but the 3rd one please no
Why? I think it would be cool. When you are encouraged to take risks and you don't have to passively wait for the AI to leave the area, it makes the game more interesting
the 3rd one was a mechanic in SN
you can peek out of a closet
I do think it's a really cool mechanic
It's even better while taking the risk of getting cought
The way I imagine it is Quentin slightly opening the closet just to see outside and not through a doorknob
I love all of these ideas!
The 3rd one seems really fun to play with, you would have to keep a ear
out so you know when its safe
Yes 😁
@feral dome Yeahhh
Maybe for number 3 the curtain in the closet could be shut, and you could open it but risk getting spotted.
