This is less of a suggestion post and more of an actual feedback post. I have a lot of thoughts on this matter, but I'll try to keep it as brief as I can.

No hate to the writers, but I do not think HN2 has a very good story as is. The story lacks any sort of depth or real mysteries to solve, has little development to most of the major characters and barely gives time to any of the new ones, and heavily underutilizes its new concepts and ideas - not to mention the sudden, cliffhanger ending.

This is a major issue, as the narrative is such a large part of the Hello Neighbor franchise as a whole, and particularly integral to a game such as HN2 - a game where the whole point is supposed to be that you're solving a town conspiracy as an investigative journalist, right?

I have my own ideas on how I'd change things, but I'm not here to tell you guys what to do. However, my point still stands - the narrative is probably one of the aspects of HN2 that needs the most love, and I sincerely hope that it receives it.

I will say, the story isn't ALL bad. There are elements I do like... but they aren't nearly as developed as I'd like them to be, and overall it's quite bland.

I like the beta's story more than fg

I find that quite funny because beta was advertised as being a spoiler free experience lol

#

But yet has better story than FG

#

Which isn't a high bar to clear, and even then beta's story is still quite barebones

I meant story wise, such as Quentin having nightmares but still trying to find Aaron, showing he actually cares, the only trash cutscene has to be the ending, it’s so stale.
