I have the recommended video card for HN2 and I used to have ~80 fps in earlier patches.
now thanks to your rtx "update" I get 10 fps! playing the game is a STRUGGLE

you're on steam right?

because if you are and you go into properties then set the launch option to -dx11 then it should work it did for me

I didn't try yet

yknow, with the RECOMMENDED card and even newer processor, the game should work without any issues
EGS if you read this TEST the game on lower quality pc's!!!

still, we shouldn't use all of this to be able to run the game normally ON THE RECOMMENDED CARD. and no, I still haven't tried, these usually never work for me.

or then don't recommend anything, tell on steam "uh get rtx"
