This has been a problem ever since release. When you enter the bossfight, all the items in your inventory will disappear. But when you finish bossfight and enter free roam, the items do not come back to your inventory neither do they respawn in their old locations. I lost my camera monitor that way. It never respawned after bossfight. Pls fix this.
