So the good old crowbar is useless
Now the reason for that is well it's too easy to get
Crowbars are everywhere i can't ever think without going
"Oh hey a crowbar!" and because of that there's no point
to it why would you put some wood on that door when a key works just as well!
the only reason to have you use one is for shortcuts (this also goes for the scissors)

Well the reason its easy to get is because it an essential item. It was made to be like your number one handy tool like how a sword is your number weapon in other games. And the most likely reason that crowbars are everywhere is just in case you lose it or it despawns. Also, you dont just have to use it for "shortcuts", multiple points in the game require you to use your crowbar. This is just kinda stupid. The crowbar is an essential item and it doesnt have "no point".
