Note: this is after I finished placing the cogs.

After I got stuck, the game crashed when I tried to reload the save. Restarting the game put me back to the start and thankfully all the progress saved. When I reactivated the cut scene I discovered this game breaking bug which is better explained in a video.

I look forward to your response and would love to get back to live streaming this DLC soon!
