I just want to say what a fantastic job Tiny Build has been doing. They have been releasing patch after patch and after not touching the game for a month I can see massive improvements.
Well done! They said they would fix it and they are. I’m hoping there’s still more in terms of content to come but hey this is a really great start.
I’ve actually started to recommend this game to my friends and at least 3 of them will be purchasing.
If they keep up the great work this can actually become a very great game.

I agree, it’s great to see the amount of work and dedication put into this project, even after the dozen of critical reviews on it on launch.

I love that they're doing this. This is an example of what devs should do when a game isn't received well, give it the attention it needs to achieve the potential the players feel it could achieve. I think that considering the consistent updates that this game is totally worth recommending. Here's to Tinybuild, Eerie Guest Studios, and Hello Neighbor 2!

To be fair, this build is called the Beta in the files and the actual Beta is called the Playtest. This naming suggests to me that in an effort to get the game out without delaying it, they released the latest playable build of the game that they had on hand. Do you really think all of this stuff they've added in updates is new? Some of the stuff they've had to add through updates was in promotional material for this game for quite a while. I think what happened is that stuff was put together for the final build of the game and so when they had to release their latest Beta build as the full game, they hadn't ported their new models and features back into an old build. Right now I'd wager a guess that a lot of the stuff we were intended to have at launch is either almost or already complete. I do wish they'd been willing to delay it but I can't speak on how stuff like that affects a company. They didn't want to delay it so we got the latest fully finished build of the game. We know there are content expansions coming to add more quests and characters that aren't here right now and we also have seen how they've been releasing the unused content that they can through patches. Considering the circumstances, I still respect TinyBuild and Eerie Guest Studios.

I know games tend to want to avoid being delayed and it's annoying. I wish they'd delayed it but they didn't and that doesn't make me like them any less. They still want us to get a good game that much is for sure. They've said they'll be adding stuff back and they seem to be doing just that. I am honestly not that angry at them. I enjoy the game a lot in the state it's in right now so if they keep it up, this'll be everything we want it to be and then some.

I personally really like the game (except that how unoptimised it was to start) and I’m super excited for what is to come.
However not all people are patient and are willing to wait. Some people will judge the game on what it is at launch and then give up on it. I personally don’t blame them. But sometimes if we are patient with things, good things can happen (like with No Man’s Sky)

No other sector on Earth where you can you give a shoddy product with broken promises and have people defend that move. Analogous to defending a Ponzi scheme.

"He took my money and didn't give me what was promised but it's okay they said they'll make it right."

I appreciate what you're saying, I really do, but all that we have on console are empty promises and a buggy let-down of a game
