All i want is a flashlight because honestly it was such a big staple in the first game that i was so suprised that there wasn't any in the second idk it just didn't feel right without one and the models already there in the cutscene

I agree, a flashlight in Quentin's office would be a cool addition that would make the game feel more complete.

I mean the game never gets dark enough for you to need one, but it would be cool just to have one as a novelty. Especially considering that they've now improved the model in Patch 3. Considering that they have now improved the already existing Hello Neighbor 2 flashlight model, I think it would be awesome if they added one. I agree but I won't be terribly angry if they don't add one, it'd just be nice :).

also there are certain areas even in the dlc where it gets dark like the Library staircase to the roof

Thing is they would have to then place a flashlight somewhere in each DLC. Maybe the flashlight could be some of Quentin's equipment and it would spawn from the very beginning of the game on the same nightstand that it is on during the first nightmare sequence. It could appear next to where the Hello-copter appears in the DLC.
