car handle wont respawn

During a starter act, I happened to find the car handle but I threw it away. not knowing what its used for, but now at the final act I can not progressing as the handle will not respawn. Any fixes?

The last article was posted a week ago about this so im hoping it has a solution other than restarting the entire game.

Well unless you want to scavenge the whole town for that small car handle, you can only restart
