I think the best way to improve the ai would be to make their movement speed would be much faster and make the ai able to jump.

the speed is great, they just need to make the AI not lose you as easily and not take so long to turn corners, but i agree there should be jumping and maybe crawling too if they see you crouching under something instead of just standing there and waiting
