cant find scissors

I bought my daughter this game on Nintendo Switch. She keeps telling me she can not find the scissors that the heart key is there instead. Any ideas how she can find them or if there is a fix for this? We have restarted the switch and game several times

The switch version is a heavily outdated version of the game for some reason, so the puzzle solutions are different to that of computer or other consoles. I'm afraid YouTube tutorials and walkthroughs wont be relevant to your game as it is the switch version, sorry

You'll just have to figure out how the switch version works, because theres barely any gameplay of the switch version anywhere that I can see.
