Bakery key disappears when I get caught

I don't know what you expect me to do. This game is literally impossible. I make one screw up and I already lose my item forever. How do you expect me to proceed? You made it impossible. I got the key from the bakery and then she caught me. I need to open the fridge but I don't even have the key anymore. I shouldn't have to reset my progress every time I screw a small thing up.
