The new update brought the first improvements in the AI and overall the gameplay which I am glad about but there is more that could be done to improve upon the new and already existing features as well as adding new ones:
- Some AIs still use the wrong bathing animation, resulting in the baker, for example, turning into a weird creepy Mr. Peterson clone.
- AIs should be able to pick up items to throw at the player on the fly, when they're chasing the player, which would make chases more intense.
- When an item is thrown at the player it should briefly stun the player.
- AIs still do tasks for a very short time and get stuck in a loop of doing 2 tasks and nothing more.
- While the baker acknowledges the player outside of their protected area, other AIs don't seem to do that.
- Officer Nielsen is still using borrowed Neighbor animations and doesn't have his own, resulting in him deforming and using the Neighbor's sounds.
- The baker still doesn't well, bake, she just pretends to make dough from thin air.
- Extinguisher flying can still be done even though it was said to be fixed.
- While some clipping issues were fixed, others weren't, you can still climb through the mayor's secret wall door.
- AI should be able to catch the player when they're walking or crouching in front of the AI, right now they just do an angry animation.
- The AI should react to the fire extinguisher. Right now they can't hear the extinguisher, and when sprayed with the extinguisher they don't react to it.
- More AI interactivity, hopefully in the future there are more items to distract the AI, make them cold, dirty, wet, angry, scared etc.
- The baker still can't step away from doing the oven animation even after hearing or seeing the player.
- AI can still lose player very quickly.
- I think readding old animations for certain actions like using the crowbar or opening a window would be very appreaciated, it would put the player on edge while sneaking around opening stuff.
