Ok... for starters the game is good at the surface but when you dive deep there are a ton of problems. 1st off they promised in the beta that box throwing and breaking windows would be BACK. WHERE ARE THE FRICKING BOXES!!! 2nd they took away that you could interact with all the items. Like we could in Hello Neighbor. 3rd they promised passive NPC's that we could do quests for. 4th what happened to the bulletin board, like what happened to it. In the beta we we're solving for the missing kids in this I don't know what the story is. Finally there are like 7 buildings you can interact with. BRO THERE ARE 100 FRICKING BUILDINGS ON THE MAP. I FEEL LIKE IM PLAYING AN UNFINISHED FRICKING ROBLOX GAME NOT A $40 DOLLAR GAME.
#Hello Neighbor 2 is not the game we waited for.

bruh
I personally think the ability to interact with all the items is bad. I hated how glitchy it was to jump the damn boxes and how buggy it was to even walk through a normal room because of interactable items. I also like how by removing the ability to interact with everything helps us stay on task with what to do. I agree with the rest of the points.
I wish we could break all the windows.......
Yeah
I thought Piggy used players.... not AI
The powerup thing is a thing the CEO of TB wishes they never did for the first game
I agree about box stacking, but I disagree with everything you say, the whole premise of HN isn't all about picking up keys to unlock the next route, it is also a game where you can break in with many items to help your presents occur with the AI
I mean it would be nice to pick up one or two reoccurring staple items to create distractions and break windows, but interacting with everything just overcomplicates the gameplay. Especially for new people coming into the game.
They should have focused on the major bugs instead of the music
Not really, in HN1 there was a hidden paint that turns out to be a lever can give you access to a new hallway, as well as a big paint that can lead you to a locked room, or even busted chairs, as well as variety of items to pick up and break windows with, the new gameplay just feels nonsense, and having all unnecessary levers and stuff feels over the top
How did you know that there was a secret hole behind that painting in act 1? or that you had to hit the top right photo to unlock the path in act 3?
Because I've played the game before, which is why I think picking up every item was creative
A decent amount of people stole everything
I was one of those people who did it in act 3
People would call me a madman
However for new players, that can be quite frustrating and it could steer non-hardcore fans away from the game
Even if it is frustrating, it can be enjoyable for new players, or non-hardcore fans if they want a little bit of not only interaction, but as well as throwing at the neighbor, breaking windows, and as well as remaking your own house
I think you should be able to interact with most items because it doesn't feel like an "open world" game. It feels like a game that your following a certain path. You can only enter the OG house at the beginning of HN2. You can't chose to go anywhere else. Like in act 3 of the OG game you could go anywhere you wanted. You could start at the 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor. If act 3 was in HN2 you could only access the first floor.
Don't forget that in the older alphas in HN1 had you picking up certain objects that aren't tall or too big.
Yeah like a lamp or something
I just feel that besides graphics HN1 is better than HN2
Wat...... no
It's the other way around
No because HN1 has more bang for your buck. There are a lot of secret achievements and the play time is longer for a smaller price
All of the HN2 achievements are secret on xbox
