i liked how the story was cut into days and nights. that much was cool. i thought the game was cool, it was a lot of fun, just felt short. i would like to note that after the first act.. i didnt really understand what the baker, hunter, and mayor had to do with the neighbor. they felt totally unconnected and just some things to do and figure out. i wish they would have had correlation to tie the story together. the cop was the only one that made sense to me. i would have liked more things to do and interact with like in the first game where you could pick a lot of things up and mess around and whatnot. this game felt like there was so little to interact with and all the achievements are so easy to get, as most you get by just playing the game. if there were achievements for doing something crazy and random like in the prequel, i would have had more fun playing. more hidden stuff would be nice. i would have liked to have been able to throw something at anyone chasing me to make them stumble like in the prequel. the mechanic of the hunter's shotgun was cool i'll say. the camera screen had 4 slots but i could only ever find one camera. that was another mechanic i really liked. graphics were enjoyable, game felt a little buggy, but thats to be expected since it just came out. i don't know if i'm missing something, but that's most of it anyways. the finale was disappointing to me honestly. the beginning of it made sense because the neighbor obviously didn't want me messing with the kid. but then he all of a sudden was really fast and had super hearing, which didn't make sense, although it was semi-challenging having to avoid him. there just wasn't much pizazz to it. it felt like "just do xyz and you're done". but that aside, the ending of the finale was what did it for me. i thought the protagonist was gonna be a hero saving the kid, and the decor falling on the neighbor was promising, i cheered ngl. but the kid going back to him didn't make sense considering he spent the whole game crying and trying to escape. but toxic relationships ig lmao. felt. anyways. the protagonist getting hit over the head at the end didn't make much sense to me. it was just kinda :/ to me. i wish we could replay certain acts like its the first time again, i wish there were still things left that we could do at the end besides getting the addons. i like the setting though. but i genuinely feel more could have been done with it. whether its too late or not, i hope some of this is taken into consideration for an update on the game. if you read all this, thanks! no hate btw, this is just my thoughts and how i genuinely feel about my experience with the game. i had fun.
