Why were so many of the ideas and characters we were hyped up for suddenly tossed in the garbage? Why is the Guest missing despite being treated like a second mascot for the franchise? What happened to Beatrix and Smith (Man in the Hat)? Look, I understand stories evolve, or ideas get scrapped, but it's downright weird that almost everything from Hello Guest and the Hello Neighbor 2 alpha are being treated like they never existed. Heck, we've even been straight up lied to multiple times about what the full release of Hello Neighbor 2 would be like. Promises of an open world, solving mysteries, new advanced AIs, lots of locations to explore, ect. I'm really hurt that I put so much faith in this sequel! I thought this was the game that would prove that Hello Neighbor wasn't a generic, cheap kid's horror, but I guess I'm stupid for putting my faith in Eerie Guest/TinyBuild. I'm still a HUGE Hello Neighbor/Hello Guest fan though, and this wont stop me from loving the franchise, but I'm still very disappointed in this game.
#HN2 has officially given me trust issues. (Not hate!)
