I think it would be much more intense if the AI would chase you up ladders. I know there are some areas that it would be best not to like the mayors house but in that case it would be more fun if the AI would chase you outside like in the first game. So for example if the baker was chasing you I think she should continue until your off the property of the bakery instead of giving up when you leave the restricted area. This would go with the ladder out front if your being chased you’d think getting on the roof is safe but she would climb after you. Also she should go after you if your on the roof because it just makes sense. Maybe allow her to jump out of the window on the roof as an alternative way of getting you. Could do this with other characters and locations too. Something else I’ve seen people saying that the AI wouldn’t work with the second floor of the Peterson’s house since there’s only one way upstairs so maybe bring back the ladder from the original game where’s it’s in the backyard. Could position the ladder elsewhere but would go through a window that would be boarded up so you’d need the crowbar or could bring back the hole in the roof. What I wrote earlier about the AI going outside and climbing ladders I can imagine the officer cutting the player off by either running upstairs while you climb the ladder or other way around.
