I was in the museum and there was a pressure plate so I though I should get the weight from the neighbor’s house. I came back with the weight and put it on the pressure plate. And then I realized I didn’t shatter the glass with the painting of the family that triggers the cutscene. I triggered the cutscene and woke up in the news station and went to the hunter’s house and completed it and got the library key for the museum. I needed to get all three gears and the gear you get when you push the pressure plate down is not there and the weight was still there on the pressure plate. I had no way of taking it off of the pressure plate and I couldn’t put the museum’s weight on the pressure plate. I also tried reloading my last save but it still didn’t get off the pressure plate. I was forced to restart because it was my first time playing and I didn’t know the code to the safe.
