save getting erased each time I reach day or night 4

This has happened 5 times. I play through it but at the end it erases my save and resets my progress. I’m stuck in a loop of that, I can’t finish the game. I’m on PS5

Hi, sorry to hear that this keeps on happening.

As our team is trying to address this, it would help us a great deal if you could take a short video before this happens next time, and note the exact time too.

Would you happen to do something specific before it crashes?

I’ll take a video of my experience with day/night 4. But currently I’ve noticed the places where it most crashes is:

When you end day 4 and get the mayor’s key

Right after putting the animal heads

And the imprisonment section

This happened to me too when I got locked in the cage

It happened to me too at that exact point. I got in the attic and at the end of the cutscene when the neighbor threw me into the cage my game crashed and all my progress was gone when I loaded it back up

Yeah me too. Its annoying.

In the imprisonment section, skipping the cutscene fixed it for me. If you get to that cutscene, skip it. My game didn’t crash after that point.

Yea my game crashed as soon as he tossed me in the cage, rebooted back up and it just said new game instead of continue...I don't think I can bring myself to play through it again.

Just happen to me: I would normally have a video but since it crashed my game, I wouldn’t be able to record the last 30 seconds because Xbox only allows you to record inside a game

Assuming the people who got imprisonment but not reunion had there game crashed and save file erased, that would be roughly 10% of people experienced this bug

I did restart my file once before getting here, maybe that relates to the issue?

Same, but on Xbox series x. Hey team. Playing on Xbox Series X, and I just completed act 4. Spoilers………………………………

I opened the cage, started walking out with the son, got chokeheld by Mr Neighbor, then the game force quit. I relaunched the game to find that my only option is to start a new game. Hours of progress wasted. Any insight would be great.
